Dolphins

One of my favourite film ever is called “The Big Blue”. It was released in 1988 and was made by French director Luc Besson. The movie is a fiction about two real-life professional divers - late Jacques Mayol played by Jean-Marc Barr and Enzo Maiorca played by Jean Reno. The movie shows the friendship and competition that existed between the two. It also shows their unfathomable love for the sea. Rosanna Arquette plays Johana, an insurance clerk from New York who falls in love with Jacques.

Wait a minute! Have you watched the film? If not, I will not spoil everything by bluntly telling you how it ends. Do you fancy a little game instead? I promise you fun and adventure. Follow these guidelines:
  • Plan a trip to your nearest DVD rental shop.
  • Go by bus or other public transportation methods.
  • Say good morning with a smile to the maximum number of persons you encounter. Record the number of smiles that are returned.
  • On the bus, help the old lady standing next to you with her bags and give her your seat if required.
  • If the sun is shining, get off the bus one stop away from your DVD rental shop and walk a little bit.
  • Enter the DVD rental shop and look for “The Big Blue” movie. Ask for help if not found.
  • On your way home, buy your favourite snacks and drinks.
  • When you are home, take a bath, change clothes and finally play the DVD.
  • Now relax and enjoy the film, snacks and drinks.

This film is not for everyone. If you are a bit of a dreamer like me and that your favourite colour is blue and the sea does not make you sick, then maybe you will like the film. Now do you understand this blog’s title and Internet address? Post your comments about the film. I would like to know what you think about it.
